Eleanor M McGloin, 87 passed in the comfort of her home on May 7th, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Russell T McGloin. She was born on February 6th, 1934 to Cyril and Kathleen (Doonan) Gormley. She was a lifelong resident of Central Falls.
She is survived by her children, Russell of East Providence, Michael and his partner Tammy of Central Falls, Timothy and his wife Elisabeth of Pawtucket, Brian of Central Falls and Patricia Nelson and her husband Chance of West Warwick, seven grandchildren, Carlos and Stephanie Rodrigues, Ryan McGloin, Patrick, Olivia, Sophia and Nicholas Nelson, six great grandchildren, Julianna Rodrigues, Avani Rodrigues, Mia Ruiz, Arya Rodrigues, Justin McGloin and Fabrizio Rodrigues, a sister Patricia Houghton of Warwick and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her brother Leo Gormley of New York, daughters-in-law Patricia (Clark) McGloin of Pawtucket and Tanya McGloin of East Providence and her great granddaughter Hayzel-Rae Rodrigues of Pawtucket.
She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church and St Jude Parish.
Her visitation and funeral will be held, Tuesday, May 11th starting at 9am at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be in Mount St Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.
